You and/or your child’s first name and photo(s) will be posted on the Troop 6 web site (WWW.Troop6.net) and/or other scout related web sites and/or local/national newsprint and/or other related media for scouting related purposes only without further notice to you or your child. Adult troop members and adult event participants will also have their last name posted from time to time.
The web site is maintained by scouts and scout leaders and is reviewed by the troop leaders on a regular basis. Information located on the World Wide Web (WWW) and can be accessed and seen throughout the world by anyone with access to the internet.
Parents are encouraged to use and review the Troop 6 web site and associated calendar on a regular basis. It is fast becoming our main communication portal. Please report any content you feel inappropriate, or out of character, to the Webmaster and Scoutmaster immediately.
Troop 6 discloses e-mail addresses to registered scouts, parents of registered scouts and scout leaders. Contact the Scoutmaster if you or your child receive any inappropriate e-mail.
We respect for your privacy! Troop 6 will refrain from posting photos and/or remove any content pertaining to you and/or your child, and/or remove your and/or your child’s e-mail address from our system, within 60 days of receipt of your written request delivered to the Scoutmaster.
